“I want to make America great again!!”

Mr. Trump
Mr. Trump keeps saying he wants to make America great again.  He said he is the man to do it.  Is he?  He said that we have to bring jobs back to the United States, can he actually do that?  He said that immigration is a problem.  That all people who came here illegally will be deported.  Can he really deport 11 million people?  He said that he will fix education and argues the pros and cons of the Common Core.  Can he make a difference?  He said that the Hedge Fund people don’t pay their fair share of taxes, that they know all the loop holes.  Will he close the loop holes?  Will the super wealthy start paying their fair share?
Mr. Trump has opened up a dialogue on issues that make people very nervous because they are either not politically correct or they are sensitive for another reason.  People were fast to say that Mr. Trump was entertaining and that his fire will burn itself out.  Yet all the other candidates have taken up his issues, his platform and are speaking on them by tweaking the wording.  So what exactly does that mean?  Are the other candidates having an “Ah-hah” moment or are they trying to catch up to Mr. Trump because he is resonating with so many people?
People are tired of professional politicians.  People are tired of paying for the mistakes of government.  People are tired of being bounced around within the system.  People are tired of having their livelihood threatened by promises of cutting social security and medi-care.  People are tired of looking to the future and wondering if their last day of work will have to be their last day on Earth.
People are tired of being disrespected and devalued in a system that should be honoring its citizens.
People are tired of children being the platform of politicians rather then the agenda.
People are tired of Educational Administrators making high 6 figure salaries and not making good choices for the teachers or students.
People are tired of seeing their old age ridiculed and toasted as a burden, rather then being heralded for a lifetime of work and achievement.
People are tired of being tired……
So do we trust Mr. Trump to do as he preaches?  We trusted Obama with his message of hope.  How did that work out?  I’m willing to give Trump a chance.  He can’t hurt the country any more then it is already hurt.  Perhaps a business person can make a difference.
It’s early yet, lets wait and see what happens over the next few months.  But I like hearing what Mr. Trump has to say.  Somehow I am beginning to believe that perhaps America does have a chance to be great again.  Maybe, just maybe, all people can prosper…
