We all suffer from self doubt at one time or another. Self doubt comes from us allowing the environment around us to dictate judgements that have nothing to do with who we are deep inside. There are times we are not aware we are self doubting our authentic selves….we are merely going along and suddenly wonder, “When did this happen?” or “How did I come to this junction/decision/opinion/fate?”
We allow society’s dictates to dictate us in an almost subliminal way, how we should think, respond, or feel. We have to be careful especially in our responses. Too often we are quick to respond in the negative when in fact there could be underlying issues creating the situation.
Maryann Williamson says there are two ways we view the world around us. We either view the world with love or with fear. So often we are viewing the world in fear. Too often we view our inner selves in fear. We need to remember Maryann Williamson’s words and move forward first in love, even when we are in self doubt. Love yourself. Love yourself first. Picture your love radiating out from you, touching all and everything around you. The rays moving through time and space endlessly.
Does it always work out in a positive way when you view the world from love or project love out, no. But just think how much better it feels to you inside, deep inside your soul, to come from love rather then fear, hatred, anger, and self doubt. We all know when something resonates truth…
As Don Miguel Ruiz writes, “have faith in oneself”.
